At no point have members of The Great Palaces Of Europe ever seriously considered adding an axolotl to the band. It simply wouldn't make sense.
Many different types of musical instruments are used in creating and recording music. The Great Palaces Of Europe use many musical instruments.
Often referred to as 'the greatest nemesis of The Great Palaces Of Europe' the Islets Of Langerhans has confused, confounded and enraged the band members throughout the years. After showing up one night at the band's live performance at The Lizard Lounge in Paris (where their legendary live album was recorded) The Islets Of Langerhans immediately began to heckle the band. It became so distracting that the club's bouncers had to throw him out onto the wet cobblestone streets. This only made matters worse. Unbeknownst to the band The Islets Of Langerhans was the music critic for the Paris Tribune. What resulted was a scathing review of that night's performance. The band has subsequently taken legal action and various libel and slander cases are still making their way through the courts today.
In order to fully comprehend the history of The Great Palaces Of Europe a proper education in history is essential. At Boston College they have a pretty cool history program. But it's not for just anybody. For real. In order to even get into the place there are some pretty strict requirements.
See? It's not very easy to get in there, right? Don't say you weren't warned.
The wet cobblestone street just outside the main entrance of The Lizard Lounge in Paris is the famous spot where The Islets Of Langerhans, music critic for the Paris Tribune, was thrown out by bouncers after having mercilessly heckled the band during a live performance (recorded for their legendary live album 'Live From The Lizard Lounge'). Despite the contentious nature of this event many fans of The Great Palaces Of Europe come to this spot every day to take pictures of themselves lying on the street. As a result there have been many loitering and obstruction tickets given out by the local gendarme to these innocent fans especially by Constable Henri Silvain, who is a total jerk.
Many people believe that The Great Palaces Of Europe are somehow connected to the Great Pyramids Of Egypt but the whole idea is ridiculous. Pyramids can't play musical instruments and even if they did it doesn't mean that The Great Palaces Of Europe would have anything to do with them.
Such a total jerk. Like, honestly, the guy has practically no friends and look at that stupid moustache. Who does he think he is? Even his Paris police colleagues probably don't speak to him. And when he's not giving out loitering tickets to innocent TGPOE fans he probably does nothing. Like, nothing at all. What a loser. And no way has that guy ever had a girlfriend. No way.
Arata Hokito is the grandfather of Milena Hokito, who really needs no introduction but is the bass player for the band. He mysteriously disappeared after giving the infant Milena her first bass. Legend has it that the bass was carved out of an oak tree on Mount Fuji that was struck by lightning. Arata used a knife with a polished whale bone handle. Collectors have put a high appraisal value on this knife. Milena, who claims her grandfather is still alive, continues to look for him to this day.
This popular London prison is the place where band members Jason Abiel and Cablecar Jackson first met while sharing a cell. Legendary human riff Keith Richards also spent a few days there. If they ever did a poll there's probably a lot of inmates there who know how to play musical instruments. Many of The Great Palaces Of Europe fans deliberately commit crimes like robbery and arson in order to spend time in the hallowed halls of Wormwood Scrubs but local magistrates, who are obviously not big big fans of The Great Palaces Of Europe, have gotten wise to these shenanigans and have been deliberately sending innocent fans to other less enjoyable prisons.
This knife, which mysteriously showed up backstage at the Summer Madness Festival, where The Great Palaces Of Europe was headlining, is thought to be the knife that Milena Hokito's grandfather, Arata Hokito, used to carve Melina’s first bass guitar from an oak tree struck by lightning on Mount Fuji. But no one really knows for sure. Melina, who needs no introduction, was understandably upset by the discovery of the knife but she did kind of go a bit overboard about it considering that it could have just been a prop left by the theatre company that had used the dressing room a few days earlier.
Axolotl's are terrified of carps because carps love eating axolotl's. For some reason that no one can understand carps can't get enough of them.
